How to delete your account

You can request full deletion of your VoiceMoir account and all associated data in two ways:

In the app: open Settings → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete account" → confirm. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
By email: if you no longer have access to the app, write to support@voicemoir.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete account". We will delete it within a reasonable time and confirm by email.
No other identity verification is required beyond using the account's registered email.

What data is deleted

The following are permanently and immediately deleted: your diary entries and their audio recordings, your generated biography, your profile (name, email, avatar), your subscription record, referral and family-access links.

What is retained, and why

Security audit log entries (login/registration events, IP addresses) — kept for security purposes, but anonymized: your user ID is removed from them immediately upon deletion, so they can no longer be linked to your account.
No other data is retained after account deletion.
